I Just bought X-box 360 elite limited edition.When i insert resident evil 5 it doesn’t read it, and a window says put the cd in a x-box console.What should i do?

If your console is brand new and you are putting in an official game disc, the DVD drive is faulty. Bring it back and get a replacement.
1) Try with a different disk. If it recognizes it, it’s a problem with the disc.
2) If it doesn’t recognize another disk, take it back to the shop.
3) If they don’t replace it, call up Xbox support, you’ll find their number for your region on the internet.
